Position Title:

Director of Marketing


Boston, MA


The Director of Marketing is responsible for defining and driving efforts across Prospect Marketing, Customer Marketing and will partner with Sales Enablement to ensure maximum effectiveness across both internal and external stakeholders. The Marketing Director will provide leadership and management of a team, which may include Marketing Managers and Coordinators while collaborating with Product and Sales partners to achieve business objectives.

The successful candidate will have:

• 10+ years marketing experience
• B2B Portfolio Marketing experience
• BA or BS (preferably Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications, or equivalent theoretical depth); MBA preferred.
• Experience in working with data-centric products and in at least one of our client’s core markets (i.e. education, human capital management, or public sector)
• Track record of implementing innovative and disruptive marketing ideas.
• Demonstrated strategic agility. Proven record with strategy creation and execution.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability/desire to build.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Experience organizing and successfully running major events.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills (strong presentation skills a must). Ability to motivate and inspire different audiences.
• Drive for results. “Can-do” attitude and persistence.
• Interpersonal savvy. Outstanding communication skills along with the capacity to work within corporate and entrepreneurial environments.
• Creativity. Ability to champion and execute new and innovative approaches, ideas, methods, processes, products and services.
Strong negotiation and influence skills across multiple stakeholder groups. Proven team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively lead and manage teams to high degree of success.
• Demonstrated success in leadership situations and decision-making.
• Demonstrated success using analytical skills and critical thinking to formulate strategic direction.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, or similar.
